Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of fairness perceived by employees in the workplace (organizational justice), both in the distribution of wages, workload and promotion (distributive justice), procedures in decision-making (procedural justice) and supervisor treatment of employees (interactional justice), which is mediated by organizational support for employees (perceived organizational support). This study was conducted at PT. Petrokimia Gresik. This research survey was conducted on 50 respondents in the Marketing Department. The statistical tool in this study used Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 2.0). Based on the results of the study, it shows that distributive justice and interactional justice have a significant influence on perceived organizational support, while procedural justice does not have a significant influence on perceived organizational support. Furthermore, perceived organizational support has a significant influence on employee engagement. In the mediation relationship, perceived organizational support mediates the relationship between distributive justice and interactional justice on employee engagement, but a different thing happens with procedural justice, where perceived organizational support does not mediate the relationship between procedural justice and employee engagement.
