Abstract
Current dynamic business changes will impact organizations both internally and externally, so every company must realize the fact that the company's existence also depends on competitive human resources to avoid being pushed aside by competitors. For companies to survive in this business competition, it requires accurate decision-making and accurate problem identification obtained through information from lower-level employees about what the company is experiencing directly where the information arises through awareness, both directly and indirectly, from employees. This means that companies must find ways to obtain this information, for example by providing clear career growth to employees. The purpose of this study is to see the effect of career growth on employee voice behavior with affective organizational commitment as an intervening variable. The variables in this study were measured by a survey of 58 respondents at PT. Peabuhan Indonesia III (PT. Pelindo III) Tanjung Perak branch using the Partial Least Square (PLS) statistical tool. The results showed that career growth has a significant positive relationship with employee voice behavior, and affective organizational commitment does not have a significant relationship with employee voice behavior. Based on these results, affective organizational commitment is not proven as an intervening variable for career growth on employee voice behavior. Based on these results, it is hoped that they can provide input for company management to manage employee initiatives in conveying their ideas and opinions in order to achieve the expected results.
