Abstract

In the current era of globalization, competition between companies is a necessity. Therefore, reliable human resources (workers) are needed and are willing to follow the developments and conditions of the company. Therefore, workers must be considered as potential resources because they can be educated and developed. In the plastic packaging company where researchers conducted research to provide job satisfaction to employees, the company sets wages based on a minimum work target policy in each section, which is linked to income or wages earned and pays attention to other job satisfaction supporters that lead to the wage policy, as well as conditioning a more controlled work environment. The results of this policy gave rise to a striking difference in a better direction, but on the other hand there was an increase in complaints compared to the previous year. From the results of the researcher's observations, this incident arose because of changes in worker behavior that were initially supportive to being unsupportive. Because workers feel dissatisfied and the organizational climate is less than good, the results of the study show that job satisfaction and organizational climate together and partially have a significant effect on OCB and the variables and the most influential are superiors, structure, support, standards, and identity.
