Abstract
The topic of entrepreneurship remains an interesting topic to discuss in developing countries like Indonesia. The percentage of entrepreneurs in Indonesia is still very small compared to the current population. With a very large population in Indonesia compared to the number of entrepreneurs, this is clearly evident in the unemployment rate. To further understand the factors influencing entrepreneurial intentions, researchers used several variables: contextual factors, perceived attitudes, perceived behavioral control, and entrepreneurial intentions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of contextual factors on entrepreneurial intentions, mediated by personal attitudes and perceived behavioral control. The variables in this study were measured by a survey of 124 respondents who were students at the Surabaya State University Department of PKK using the Warps Partial Least Square (PLS) statistical tool. The results of this study indicate that educational support has a direct influence on entrepreneurial intentions, while relational support and structural support do not have a direct influence on entrepreneurial intentions. Structural support has an influence on entrepreneurial intentions, mediated by perceived behavioral control. Based on these results, perceived behavioral control is proven to be a mediating variable of structural support on entrepreneurial intentions
