Abstract

The increasing trend of memorizing the Quran among children and the increasing number of the Muslim middle class segment have made the Islamic school business increasingly promising. The An-Nafi'iyah Foundation saw this potential by establishing a Tahfidzul Qur'an Elementary School in the Sidoarjo area. The increasing competitive conditions in the industry mean that establishing this new business requires an appropriate business plan to enter the market and develop successfully. The purpose of this study is to prepare an appropriate business plan for the An-Nafi'iyah Tahfidzul Qur'an Elementary School so that it can enter the market and successfully develop the business. With a business plan, it can help companies in seeing prospects and having a thorough plan before entering this business. The method used in this study is a case study that will help in the formulation of a business model and planning for each of its functions. The results of this study indicate that the potential market segment is the Muslim middle class of East Java, especially Sidoarjo, with the target of Umrah/Hajj pilgrims, hijabers, and members of the Islamic community as proxies, having demographic criteria of parents of students who are married and have an income above 3 million rupiah, have children aged 5-6 and 7-11 years, and have psychographic criteria motivated to improve their standard of living through education and religion. The values ​​provided are the Tahfidzul Qur'an method, teaching Character Building, Parenting, and Art. With Key Activities with a Boarding and Fullday School system, this school prioritizes educators because they are Key Resources, and has interesting activities and accompanying activities. Through this research, it is hoped that it can provide input for the An-Nafi'iyah Islamic Education Foundation in seeing the prospects and needs needed in entering this industry. In addition, business planning using a business model can be a model for entrepreneurs to organize and shape their business.
