Abstract
Optimizing operational performance in a business unit is very important to be implemented so that the business unit can run well with increased operational efficiency and effectiveness. The research conducted at PT. Pelindo III branch, Gresik operational division, which has three (3) docks, namely Talud Tegak dock, General dock, and Dry Bulk dock, aims to determine the most optimal operational processes using the SimulationArena 10.0 method to further determine the profits and losses obtained by the company through the selection of optimal operational processes through cost-benefit analysis. This research analyzes the processes that occur at the port of PT. Pelindo III Gresik branch, creates a model, and through scenario testing obtains the most optimal results. The results of data processing and analysis show that the system engineering scenario with the arrangement of queue patterns by separating the queues leading to Talud Tegak dock in one line, while the Dry Bulk dock and General Dock in one separate line, will reduce the queue time of the system, compared to the real system of port operations. Meanwhile, the profits and losses received by the application of the scenario can be determined by analyzing the cost-benefit obtained by the company.
