Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze how the influence of a leader's attitude in giving power to his subordinates (empowering leadership) will impact employee creativity in producing new or original ideas that are useful for the organization (employee creativity). In addition, this study will also analyze how individual confidence in producing something creative (creative self-efficacy), as well as employee trust in leaders (trust) become mediating and moderating variables in the influence of empowering leadership on employee creativity. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. This study uses primary data from 73 employees where the data was obtained using a questionnaire distributed to Funding Officer employees throughout the Bank Rakyat Indonesia Surabaya Branch. The statistical tool in this study uses Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 2.0). Based on the results of the study, it shows that creative self-efficacy mediates the relationship between empowering leadership and employee creativity completely and trust moderates the relationship between empowering leadership and employee creativity.
