Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinants of the decisions of micro and small entrepreneurs in the culinary sector in choosing murabahah financing through BMT Amanah Ummah. The subjects of this study were micro and small entrepreneurs at BMT Amanah Ummah. The sample of this study was 100 micro and small entrepreneurs in the culinary sector who are members of BMT Amanah Ummah, taken using the convenience sampling method. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and documentation. The analysis technique used in this study is exploratory factor analysis. This study will formulate 20 indicators obtained from the preliminary test and then reduced to factors or variables. The variable to be studied is the decision of micro and small entrepreneurs in the culinary sector in choosing murabahah financing through BMT Amanah Ummah. The stages of the research method are preliminary tests, literature studies, and main tests conducted on 100 micro and small entrepreneurs in the culinary sector who are members of BMT Amanah Ummah Surabaya. The results of this study indicate that there are five factors that influence the decisions of micro and small entrepreneurs in the culinary sector in choosing murabahah financing through BMT Amanah Ummah Surabaya. These factors include ease of service, compensation, trust, BMT image, and professionalism. Financing also impacts micro and small entrepreneurs, both in terms of their social welfare and spiritual well-being. The impact of financing on social welfare can be demonstrated by increased business revenue. From a spiritual welfare perspective, financing from BMT Amanah Ummah has helped increase the religious activities of micro and small entrepreneurs.
