Abstract

PT. Jaya Salvage Indonesia (JASALINDO) is a company engaged in salvaging and underwater services. As a diving company, JASALINDO requires a vision, mission, objective, strategy, and action plan (VMOSA) which is a series of business strategy plans as guidance to be able to compete and achieve its vision. In conducting research using a case study approach that aims to apply, test, and evaluate a theory applied in solving problems at JASALINDO. By looking at the issues and objectives that have been determined at JASALINDO, it is known that poor service quality is the root of the problem, then the strategy used uses the Six Sigma concept with the DMAIC (Define Measure Analyze Improve Control) method and produces policies for the company. From the company's policy, it is then translated into an action plan for the related division. Therefore, JASALINDO requires a quality planning strategy to solve the root of the problem. Based on the issues along with the vision and mission, the objectives for the company are to increase sales and improve service quality. From the company's objectives, a more detailed HSE policy is produced in making risk assessments, operations carry out operational activities by paying attention to established procedures and marketing plays an active role in marketing services. The steps in implementing the established policies become an action plan that guides each related division to maximize its function along with detailed supervision to ensure that the established steps can be implemented properly and correctly.
