(Webs News) Surabaya, April 22, 2025 - Public Relations and Information Technology (PR/IT) Division of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga again held an annual Public Speaking Class Internal (PSCI) 2025.

This training is present in response to the need for effective communication skills in the era of digital revolution, especially for young people who are involved in the startup sector and the creative industry. Public speaking skills are considered as one of the key competencies that support the effectiveness of delivering messages, leadership, and competitiveness in various professional contexts.

With the theme "Communication Art: Speak Smart, Speak Right to speak smartly, precisely, and ethically in the digitalization era", PSCI 2025 presents two main sessions. The first session in the form of material exposure by Practitioners of Communication and Certified Trainer BNSP RI, Tutus Widagdo, who discussed the importance of strategic, ethical, and adaptive communication to digital dynamics. The second session is a practice session, where each participant gets the opportunity to do public speaking exercises directly and assessed by the speaker and the jury.

One of the main focus of this training is the Imprompttu Speaking technique, which is believed to increase responsiveness, self -confidence, and the ability to convey ideas spontaneously and convincingly before the public.

The 2025 Internal Public Speaking Class Program also supports the implementation of sustainable development goals (SDGs) Number 4: Quality Education. This training makes a real contribution in increasing the capacity of human resources through non -formal education that is applicable and relevant to the needs of the organization and the world of work. Through improving communication and leadership capabilities, Webs Airlangga is trying to print a young generation who are adaptive, competent, and ready to face global challenges.
