The Entrepreneur and Business Society (WEBS) Workshop of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) successfully held a Business Visit program on April 28, 2025, in Bandung City with the theme "Exploring Innovation & Sustainability in Modern Industry". This activity was initiated by the WEBS Organizer Division as part of a strategic effort to foster students' entrepreneurial spirit, encourage innovation, and broaden their insight into sustainable modern industrial practices.
On this occasion, all Business Visit participants had the opportunity to visit two important institutions: the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and Telkom Corporate University (Telkom CorpU). The visit to IDX provided a firsthand understanding of the mechanisms of the Indonesian capital market, the Stock Exchange's role in driving national economic growth, and how transparency and governance are essential foundations of the financial industry. Students also gained insight into the importance of investment literacy and career opportunities in the dynamic financial sector.
Next, at Telkom CorpU, participants were welcomed with presentations on digital transformation, technology-based talent development, and Telkom's innovation strategies in addressing industry disruption. Through exploration of learning facilities and discussions with practitioners, students were encouraged to understand how Telkom is shaping an adaptive, innovative, and sustainability-oriented work culture.
This activity not only provides valuable field experience for participants but also serves as a tangible contribution to strengthening students' capacity to understand economic opportunities and the world of work. Furthermore, through activities like this, WEBS is committed to continuing to encourage other forms of collaboration with strategic external partners to develop future entrepreneurship programs.
Business Visit 2025 is a concrete demonstration of WEBS' commitment to building a competitive campus entrepreneurial ecosystem, connected to the industrial world, and contributing to inclusive and sustainable economic development in Indonesia.
