FEB UNAIR students are ready to become a leader: Follow the debriefing of Ormawa in Trawas

(SEKTOR NEWS) Mojokerto – Universitas Airlangga held a Student Organization (Ormawa) Briefing from Friday to Sunday, May 16–18, 2025, at the Arayana Hotel & Resort, Trawas, Mojokerto. This event was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni, Prof. Dr. Bambang Sektiari Lukiswanto, DEA, DVM.

In his remarks, Prof. Bambang emphasized the importance of students' role as agents of change capable of leading, both on campus and in the wider community. "As students and leaders, we must be individuals who have a positive impact and benefit others," he said.

This activity was attended by Ormawa administrators from all faculties at Universitas Airlangga, including students from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNAIR who currently serve as administrators of the Student Executive Board (BEM), the Student Legislative Council (DLM), and university-level Ormawa.

One of the participants, Afif Khilmun Nafik, a FEB student who serves as the Director General of Action and Propaganda for the 2025 Student Executive Board (BEM) Universitas Airlangga , also shared his views. "I am proud to be part of the Adhiraya Karsa Cabinet of BEM UNAIR. From this Ormawa briefing, I learned that commitment and professionalism are the main foundations for making a real impact and benefit, as conveyed by Prof. Bambang," he said.

This training aims to strengthen the leadership and management capacity of student organizations, while also fostering a spirit of collaboration and integrity in managing student activities. Participants also received various strategic materials from experienced speakers in the fields of leadership, organizational communication, and personal development.

The impact of this activity is significant, particularly in fostering student awareness and readiness to become adaptive and solution-oriented future leaders. Through this program, students are encouraged not only to be active in organizations but also to design work programs with social impact, bridge student aspirations, and strengthen inter-organizational synergy for the advancement of institutions and society.
