(KOPSI NEWS)-On April 26-27, 2025, the Student Cooperative Study Group (Kopsi) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB Unair) held a basic training activity and upgrading with the theme " Upgrade Now, Lead Tomorrow " at Villa Antika, Pacet, Mojokerto. The activity which was attended by all active members of the 2025 Kopsi was aimed at preparing future leaders cadres while strengthening internal solidarity. Basic Training, supported by the Human Resources Development Division, focusing on the material "Cooperatives in the Modern Era" delivered by Muhammad Maskur Fauzi. In this forum there is also a discussion and question and answer session.
Meanwhile, upgrading which is the work program of the Education and Training (ENT) includes activities to strengthen relations between members. Activities when upgrading include bonding each division, fun games between members of the Kopsi to build team cohesiveness, and do not forget to gather together as an informal discussion room for self -development. This activity is strategically in harmony with SDGs point 4 namely, quality education , because it provides non-formal holistic education. Through basic education and training, members hone the Soft Skills of Leadership and Cooperative Economic Literacy, while upgrading strengthens the ability of collaboration and mental resistance. This combination of theory and practice supports the creation of young people who are ready to face global challenges.
In closing, this activity confirms the commitment of Kopsi FEB UNAIR in building a dynamic and sustainable learning ecosystem. The internal synergy reflects solid collaboration, while the family atmosphere during bonding can deepen the values of cooperatives as collective movements. It is hoped that this experience will become a catalyst for members to continue to actualize the spirit of " upgrade now , lead tomorrow " in a real contribution to the progress of cooperatives at the campus and community level.
