KOPSI WORKSHOP Vol. 1: Improve the quality of management through essay writing training and business plans

(KOPSI NEWS) The Student Cooperative of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (KOPSI FEB UNAIR) held the KOPSI Workshop Vol. 1 with the theme “Crafting Knowledge That Last: A Workshop on Writing for Impact” on Saturday, July 5, 2025. The activity, which was carried out online via Zoom Meeting, aimed to strengthen the technical and conceptual capacity of the administrators, especially in compiling scientific essays and cooperative business plans that are structured, relevant, and implementable.

This workshop featured Alya Hamidah, a 2022 Accounting student. Drawing on her experience in various competitions and writing, Alya systematically shared her knowledge and techniques for writing essays and business plans. Participants gained not only theoretical understanding but also hands-on practice to deepen their understanding and application of the material.

In addition to the presentation sessions, this event also provided a platform for the KOPSI FEB UNAIR delegation, who will be attending the National Cooperative Jamboree, to present their draft essay ideas and business plans. Each presentation received direct feedback and evaluation from the speakers, creating a constructive and collaborative discussion space.

This training is a crucial step in enhancing KOPSI members' ability to design strategic documents that not only meet academic standards but also orientate toward concrete solutions for the development of student cooperatives and community-based economic empowerment. This activity reflects KOPSI FEB UNAIR's commitment to creating a sustainable learning ecosystem and encouraging the growth of a spirit of social entrepreneurship among students.

With its practice-based approach and direct interaction, KOPSI Workshop Vol. 1 made a real contribution to strengthening organizational capacity and developing human resources ready to contribute to future cooperative-based economic development.
