(Hima Diei News) Surabaya, May 6, 2025 - Student Association of Doctoral Programs (HIMA S3) Islamic Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga successfully held a research coaching activity titled "How to Make a Strong Research Contribution: Sharpening Originity, Rigor, and Relevance." This activity is a form of strengthening the academic capacity of doctoral students in facing research challenges at the national and global level.
This event presented a special resource, Dr. Anidah Binti Robani, a lecturer from the Malaysian Technical University Melaka, who has been active in the fields of economics and international academic publications. In his presentation, Dr. Anidah shares various strategies to build strong research contributions, by emphasizing the importance of originality, methodological accuracy (rigor), and related to actual issues (relevance).
The activity took place on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, starting at 09.00 WIB in the Executive Classroom 301 FEB Airlangga University, and was broadcast online through the Zoom Meeting platform. The enthusiasm of the participants was very high, shown through the active participation of doctoral students involved in the discussion and question and answer session interactively.
Research Coaching is part of the commitment of HIMA S3 Islamic economics in supporting the improvement of the quality of research and scientific publications of postgraduate students. Through this activity, students are expected to be more skilled in formulating sharp research questions, choosing the right methods, and producing scientific works that have and relevant socially and academically.
With the implementation of this activity, Hima S3 Islamic Economics FEB UNAIR continues to strengthen the role of academic forum that supports the birth of superior and contributing researchers for the development of Islamic economics at the global level.
