UNAIR'S S1 MANAGEMENT STUDENTS HAVE CONDUCTED MANAGEMENT VISIT 2025: STRENGTHENING RELATIONS AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE INDUSTRIAL WORLD

(HIMA S1 MANAGEMENT NEWS) On Monday, October 20, 2025, and Tuesday, October 21, 2025, the Undergraduate Management Student Association (HIMA S1 Management) of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga held the Management Visit 2025 activity. This activity was held at Samuel Sekuritas, Indofood Bogasari, and East Ventures, involving 45 participants who are members of HIMA S1 Management, Universitas Airlangga.

The Management Visit 2025 activity aims to expand the relationship between the Student Association of Undergraduate Management (HIMA S1 Management) with various companies, introduce and promote the organization's reputation, and provide a real-world picture of the world of work to improve student readiness. Furthermore, this activity is also intended to bridge the theory learned in class with business practices in the industrial world, introduce the application of management science in companies, and increase understanding of the implementation of a green economy through ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) collaboration.

On the first day, participants visited Samuel Securities, where they gained new insights into the capital market, the working mechanisms of securities institutions, and the role of companies in supporting economic growth through financial services.

The following day, the activity continued with a visit to Indofood Bogasari and East Ventures. At Indofood Bogasari, participants learned about the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and how large companies prioritize social and environmental sustainability in their operations.

Meanwhile, the visit to East Ventures provided an understanding of the characteristics of companies that have the potential to receive investment support from venture capital firms. Participants were also introduced to the application of innovative management principles in the world of startup investment and development.

Overall, the Management Visit 2025 was well-organized, smooth, and enthusiastic. Participants gained a wealth of knowledge, experience, and new insights relevant to the world of work and the application of management science in various industrial sectors. This event is expected to be a valuable learning tool and strengthen the relationship between the academic and professional worlds.
