(Hima Management News) Friday, May 23, 2025 -Enthusiastic fulfilling the Hall of Cendrawasih, Ex-Farmasi Universitas Airlangga , when the S1 Management Study Program students gathered in the 2025 Combine , an annual event that this year carried the theme "Sustainability in Business: Elevating Your Competitive Edge."
The event was officially opened with remarks from a number of representatives, including Ms. Chorry Sulistyowati, SE, M.Sc., as a lecturer in the S1 Management Study Program, Difkha as the representative of the Chairperson of the S1 Management Student Association, as well as Carissa Hayu Naylah Tsary as the head of the activity.
The series of events began with a "achievement" that presented Mr. Zainul Musthofa, SM, MBA, Lecturer in the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga , as a speaker. In his presentation, he stressed that the principle of sustainability is now a crucial element in the global business strategy and is able to provide a real competitive advantage for companies that apply it consistently.
Furthermore, the atmosphere shifted to more interactive through the "Sharing Session" with two outstanding students, Reza Rafi Rizqi Musyaffa and Yesa Alfitriana. Both of them shared their experiences participating in various business plan competitions and national business cases.
Reza recounts his transformation from ignorance to become a champion thanks to the consistency and application of the principle of sustainability in business ideas developed with the team. Meanwhile, Yesa shared the challenges faced and strategies in participating in the competition, including the importance of preparation for presentations, the courage to try, and select the right team members.
The enthusiasm of the participants was clearly seen throughout the session. Many of them actively ask questions and record important points from the presentation of speakers. Not only enriching insight, this session also aroused the enthusiasm of participants to continue to learn, dare to take opportunities, and create ideas in the business competition they participated in.
Combine 2025 is not only an educational event, but also an inspirational container that encourages students to become adaptive, innovative, and solutive individuals in the midst of the challenges of the sustainable business world.
