This activity lasted for seven days, from Monday to Sunday, May 12–18, 2025.

IE CUP 2025 featured six sports and e-sports: 3x3 basketball, futsal, badminton (men's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles), FIFA, Mobile Legends, and billiards. All matches were held at various locations tailored to the technical needs of each sport, such as Imun+ for 3x3 basketball, Boost Gaming Lounge for FIFA, ASEEC Court for badminton, and other locations such as TKK, SMAMDA, and Nio Billiards.

Active students in the Economics Study Program from the 2020 to 2024 intake participated in this competition, either as athletes, team supporters, or committee members. The high participation rate reflects the students' enthusiasm for non-academic activities that support character development and camaraderie.

Carrying the theme “Una Anima, Una Victoria” which means “One Soul, One Victory”, this activity is not only oriented towards the results of the match, but also instills the values of sportsmanship, unity, and teamwork as part of the spirit of togetherness of Economics students.

The IE CUP 2025 series of activities officially opened on Monday, May 12, 2025, at Imun+. In his remarks, the Chief Executive, Ian Nathanael Christy Ginting, emphasized that the IE CUP is a platform for collaboration and togetherness, not just a competition. He encouraged all participants to view the competition as a positive expression of their potential.

The Head of the IE Student Association (HIMA IE), Atha Zaky Handika Putra, also delivered remarks. He emphasized that Economics students are not only expected to excel academically but also to be active in non-academic activities as a form of self-balance. He hoped that the spirit embodied in the IE Cup would continue to grow and become an ingrained culture within the IE Student Association.

IE CUP 2025 provides a space for Economics students to interact outside of academic activities and build relationships across classes. Through the week-long competition, students can get to know their peers from different classes and participate in a competitive atmosphere. This activity also encourages active student participation in student association work programs and fosters a sense of community within the Economics community.

Furthermore, this activity demonstrates HIMA IE's active role in supporting the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education), particularly in holistic student development. Furthermore, IE CUP contributes to building HIMA IE's positive image as a student organization that focuses not only on academics but also on the social and recreational needs of its members.

With all the achievements and lessons learned from this event, IE CUP 2025 is expected to become an annual event with continued improvements in its implementation. Evaluations and suggestions from the committee and participants will provide crucial input for organizing the event in future years.
