
(Hima IE News) Mokokerto, 15-16 March 2025, the Student Association of Economics (Hima IE) Universitas Airlangga successfully held an upgrading 2025 at Villa Mediana, Ledok Pacet, Mojokerto Regency. This activity is an important first step for all new administrators in building internal solidity, increasing leadership competencies, and strengthening collaboration between departments and bureaus in the organization.
Carrying the theme "Fasting: Productivity Upgrading and Self Advancement", this activity is not only a means of structural debriefing, but also a reflection and self -development container. More than 100 active management of Hima IE Unair for the 2025 period participated in a series of events enthusiastically. This activity was also attended by the Coordinator of the S1 Economics Study Program, Mr. Rumayya, SE, M.Reg.Dev., Ph.D., who gave an inspirational direction about the importance of the role of students as an adaptive and collaborative organizational driving force.
The series of activities began on Saturday morning with departure from the campus to the location, followed by the opening and welcome session from the Chairman of the HIMA IE 2025, Atha Zaky Handika. In his remarks, he stressed that upgrading were the initial foundation to foster a sense of responsibility, intimacy, and healthy organizational culture. " Upgrading is not the end of the selection process, but the beginning of the process of growing together," he said.
After the opening session, participants took part in the Character Building Camp I in the form of a Seminar on Leadership and Management of the Organization, followed by Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to compile the work program design of each department. In the afternoon to evening, participants listened to the presentation from the Core Management Agency (BPI) related to the internal system of the organization. The activity was then continued with a sharing with a class of 2022, who opened a discussion room regarding experience in managing work programs, facing challenges, and building team cohesiveness for a period of management.
At night, an bonding between departments and bureaus, which became a momentum to strengthen intimacy and build team trust. A warm and family atmosphere made this session as one of the important elements in building solid cooperation.
The second day begins with dawn dawn and prayer in congregation, followed by cleaning activities and interactive games that practice cooperation, communication, and agility. The event was closed with an awarding , official closing by BPI, and documentation with all participants.
Overall, upgrading 2025 has a significant impact on the development of individual and collective capacity of the management. From the structural side, participants understand the organization's workflow, the division of roles, and cross -division coordination patterns. In terms of emotional and social, created an atmosphere of kinship and collaborative spirit that is an important foundation in running the work program going forward. This activity also hone leadership skills, increase self -confidence, and foster a sense of responsibility. Final evaluation through quizzes and surveys shows an increase in satisfaction and understanding between participants.
With the spirit of fasting: Productivity Upgrading and Self Advancement, Upgrading Hima IE 2025 is not just a ceremonial activity, but a collective movement to print organizational cadres who are ready to serve, lead, and grow together.
