(Hima S1 IE News) Student Association of Economics, Universitas Airlangga (Hima Ie Unair) successfully held an Entrepreneurship Class (E-Class) program for two days, namely on Saturday, May 17 and 24, 2025, at Creative Lounge, Faculty of Economics and Business Unair. The activity initiated by the Department of Entrepreneurship aims to equip Economics students with the ability to design business plans comprehensively, applicatively, and foster an entrepreneurial spirit early on.

Quiz lightning and material review: heating to the execution of ideas

Starting the session on the second day, participants were invited to take the flash quiz and material reviews that had been submitted previously. This moment is a means of reflection as well as strengthening participants' understanding of important concepts such as innovation, sustainability , and business resilience in facing today's challenges.

Team presentation and direct evaluation from the mentor

The main session in the e-class is marked by a business plan presentation from each group of participants. Each team describes their business ideas and strategies before the mentor as well as evaluators who provide assessment and input directly. The ideas that are presented reflects the courage, creativity, and the ability to analyze participants in responding to the real needs of the community. Direct evaluation of mentors becomes a very applicative moment of learning, bringing students closer to the real world of entrepreneurship.

Appreciation for the best groups

As a form of appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the participants, the closing session was enlivened by the announcement of the two best groups based on the mentor's assessment. Kak Bey, as the main mentor, gives appreciation to groups that show the most potential and realistic ideas to be developed. This moment is an additional motivation for all participants to continue to hone their potential in the business world.

Closing and expectations going forward

The event was closed with a joint documentation session and closing message from the committee and MC. It is hoped that all experiences and knowledge gained during this e-class can be a real provision for students in pioneering businesses that are not only innovative and competitive, but also have a positive and sustainable social impact. Through this program, Hima Ie Unair emphasizes its commitment in printing a critical, solutive, and ready -to -become future economic driving force for the future economy.
