(HIMA AK NEWS) The Accounting Student Association Universitas Airlangga (HMA UNAIR) once again held Upgrading 2025, an annual program aimed at strengthening solidarity and improving the management's understanding of the organization. This activity took place on March 8–9, 2025, at Villa Partisipas, Songgokerto, Batu City, with the theme "Together with the Nation's Youth, Building the Nation."
As part of HMA UNAIR's commitment to creating a solid and progressive organization, this activity is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) goal number 17, Partnerships for the Goals, which emphasizes the importance of collaboration between members, divisions, and external partners to achieve common goals.
Provision of Materials and Strengthening of Management Capacity
The event began with a briefing session on time management, a crucial skill for students balancing academic and organizational activities. Dhia Raidah Alfia P., former Secretary General II of HMA 2024, delivered the material, sharing her experiences and effective strategies for managing time.
Following the presentation, participants engaged in an interactive discussion through a case study designed to hone their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This session then continued with a question-and-answer session to deepen their understanding of the material presented.
Not only theory-based, the Upgrading 2025 activities are also designed to build togetherness among administrators through various games (team bonding games) aimed at strengthening relationships and creating a more harmonious work environment within the organization.
Building a Solid and Impactful Organization
With the 2025 Upgrading, HMA UNAIR has successfully built stronger synergy among administrators and instilled essential leadership values in running the organization. It is hoped that the knowledge and experience gained during this activity can be applied in every work program, so that HMA UNAIR continues to grow and make a real contribution to students and the wider community.
