
(KSPM NEWS) The Upgrading Competition is a work program of the Human Resources (HR) Division of the Capital Market Study Group (KSPM) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . This activity is intended for internal members of KSPM FEB Unair and is in the form of an internal competition to hone capital market skills. The Upgrading Competition will be held from May 8–24, 2025, divided into two stages: mentoring and the culmination of the competition on May 24 in the Parlinah Hall.
In the Upgrading Competition , the HR Division created three competition categories, namely Trading , Stocklab, and Stock Case . This time, all internal KSPM members were divided into 8 groups. In each group, 3 people will compete in the Trading , 2 people will represent the Stocklab , and 3 people will represent the Stock Case . Trading has been running since May 8, and all groups must sell their shares by May 21 with a minimum of 10 transactions. Stocklab was held on the D-day of the peak upgrading , which was May 24, 2025. Stocklab is a card game that aims to provide education about capital market investment. In the Stock Case , each group must analyze two issuers and provide recommendations to buy, sell, or hold the issuer's shares based on the results of the analysis carried out. The analysis was presented in PowerPoint which was then presented on the D-day of the Peak Upgrading Competition .
During the judging process, the judges appointed were four KSPM members who also served as mentors for each group: Ahmad Reva Dany, Pieter, Adi Nugroho, and Dhilla Avrylia. The winner was determined based on the average score across the three competition categories.

First Place: Group 5
Second Place: Group 8
Third Place: Group 2
Overall, this activity provides quality education through a comprehensively designed competition for every member of the KSPM FEB Universitas Airlangga, combining theoretical and practical aspects of the capital market. Through three competition categories, KSPM members hone not only their technical and analytical skills, but also their teamwork and critical thinking skills. This activity is expected to spur members' desire to compete at a higher level.
