
(KSPM News) Bachelor of Capital Market (BCM) is one of the work programs of the Strategy of the Capital Market Study Group (KSPM), Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . This activity is intended for internal members of KSPM FEB UNAIR as a form of capital market introduction. BCM is held 7 meetings every Wednesday from February 12 to April 26, 2025 in classrooms 3.28 FEB Airlangga University. The BCM material itself was delivered by the Research and Development and Lecturer Department. The material discussed is also varied:
- Introduction to the Financial Industry and Capital Market Certification
- Business Framework Analysis
- Fundamental analysis
- Equity and valuation analysis, divided into 2 meetings
- Technical and practice analysis
In one of his meetings, KSPM invited the lecturer of the Department of Accounting who also took part in the capital market world, namely Mr. Tubagus Algan Roiston SA, MA became a speaker at BCM. The material presented is regarding valuation, and he provides template that can help KSPM members in conducting stock analysis.
After getting the material, the next session was a question and answer and quiz. In the question and answer session, KSPM members who were BCM participants actively held discussions with the speaker. Furthermore, the quiz is carried out through the Kahoot , where all participants can interact in realtime . Every 3 highest ranking in the quiz will get prizes from the strategy division.
After the completion of all the material, participants will be divided into 12 groups and asked to compile the Equity Paper . The purpose of the preparation of Equity Paper is to see the understanding of participants after getting material in the previous weeks. The provision is that each group chooses one issuer to be analyzed from business description to technical analysis . Three groups with equity paper will get certificates and prizes, which are given when organizing upgrading competition activities.
Overall, this BCM activity has a significant impact on the provision of quality education regarding the capital market. This activity provides a deep understanding through various materials. Participants not only gain theoretical knowledge, but also do practices that support learning.
