
(BEM News) as part of an effort to provide a deeper understanding of the world of higher education, especially in the field of economics and business, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB Unair) received visits from students of SMAN 2 Tuban in activities titled Welcome Visit , which was held on Monday, April 28, 2025.
This activity aims to introduce more closely the profile of the faculty, study programs, and campus life to students, as a first step in building their motivation and readiness to continue their education to the tertiary level.
Located in the Soepoyo Hall, Feb Unair, the event was attended by students of class XI SMAN 2 Tuban along with assistant teachers, Academic and Student Staff of FEB Airlangga University, as well as student representatives from BEM FEB Airlangga University who also accompanied and welcomed the participants.
The event began with a remarks from Muhammad Syaikh Rohman, SE, M.Ec., as the Deputy Dean I Staff of FEB Unair, who explained the profile of the faculty, vision and mission, academic excellence, international programs, superior accreditation, as well as various educational support facilities owned by FEB Unair.
Furthermore, the Head of the FEB UNAIR Student Subdivision, Hedy Diah Syahputri, Sikom, said the importance of character development through student activities, organizations, and various programs that support the strengthening of soft skills .
The next session was filled by Damara Ardelia Kusuma Wardani, SA, MA, who conveyed in detail about the FEB Unair Accounting Study Program. In his presentation, he explained the curriculum structure, student achievement, career prospects, and competitiveness of graduates both at national and international levels.
This activity received enthusiastic welcome from students, which showed great interest in the world of lectures, especially within the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. It is hoped that this visit can foster a spirit of learning, expand career insights in the economic and business fields, as well as strengthen the partnership relations between SMAN 2 Tuban and FEB Unair. Through educative activities like this, FEB UNAIR contributes to expanding access to quality education information, encouraging equality in learning opportunities, and equipping young people with relevant insight and skills to build a sustainable future.
