(BEM NEWS) The Professional Development Department of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR), once again presents a flagship skills development program entitled Self Development Program Volume 1. This activity was held online via Zoom Meeting on Monday, June 30, 2025, and focused on strengthening students' hard skills, especially mastery of Microsoft Excel as one of the important competencies in the world of work.

With the theme "EXCELerate Your Journey: From Student to Standout," this bootcamp is designed to equip participants with relevant and applicable technical skills. The training materials cover a basic introduction to Microsoft Excel, data cleaning, data formatting and processing, the use of Index Match and Lookup functions, logical calculations, Pivot Table creation, and the completion of a final data analysis-based project.

All training sessions are delivered by Edspert.id, an officially certified professional training institution. The program consists of eight live training sessions, access to exclusive materials and classes, and retrievable learning recordings. Students who complete the entire program will also receive an E-Certificate of attendance and completion, certified by the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower. This certificate can be claimed as a Participation Credit Unit (SKP) by FEB UNAIR students.

With a participation fee of Rp160,000, the Self Development Program Vol. 1 offers not only technical training but also the added value of professional credentials that can strengthen students' portfolios when entering the workforce.

Through this program, the Professional Development Department of BEM FEB UNAIR hopes that students will be able to improve their career readiness early on. Students are expected to excel not only in academic abilities but also in practical skills needed in various industrial sectors. Self-Development Program Vol. 1 is a strategic first step in developing a generation of competent young professionals ready to compete globally.
