(BEM NEWS) Surabaya, Wednesday, November 12, 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) successfully held GALA FEB 2025, an annual appreciation night that serves as an event to honor the entire FEB academic community for their dedication, achievements, and contributions over the past year.

The event, which took place in the Fadjar Notonegoro Hall, was initiated by the Department of Advocacy and Student Welfare, the Department of Science, and the Department of Creative Economy of BEM FEB UNAIR, with full support from various student organizations and the faculty.

As a key highlight of the event, GALA FEB 2025 presented the Lecturer Award and Staff Award, recognizing the dedication of lecturers and educational staff within FEB UNAIR. This year's award recipients are as follows:

In addition to awards for lecturers and educational staff, GALA FEB 2025 also presented Achievement Awards, Business Awards, Student Organization Awards, and the 2025 FEB UNAIR Bakti Scholarship to selected students. These awards symbolize the faculty's support for the enthusiasm for learning, creativity, and innovation of the younger generation within FEB UNAIR.

On the same occasion, the Chancellor Universitas Airlangga, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Madyan, SE, M.Si., M.Fin, expressed his appreciation for the holding of GALA FEB 2025. He emphasized that the academic and research atmosphere at UNAIR continues to show significant progress.

The Dean of FEB UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Rudi Purwono, SE, M.SE, also expressed his appreciation to the entire academic community. He hopes that the event will motivate all those who participated and received awards to continue working and benefiting the wider community.

In his remarks, the President of BEM FEB UNAIR, Renandra Aryasakti, stated that this event was not just an awards ceremony, but also a form of synergy within the FEB UNAIR environment. "GALA FEB is a joint work program between the three departments under the auspices of BEM FEB UNAIR. Alhamdulillah, this event was successfully held thanks to the hard work and collaborative spirit between fellow students and fellow academics of FEB UNAIR."

The Head of GALA FEB 2025, Jessica Angel Pramudinata, expressed her appreciation to all committee members and supporters for the excellent organization of this event. With the theme "A Golden Night of Achievements: Honoring Brilliance and Excellences," she hopes it will be a special moment of appreciation for the entire academic community as a concrete step in appreciating the hard work of the FEB UNAIR academic community throughout the year.

One of the special moments in the 2025 FEB GALA was the awarding of the 2025 FEB UNAIR Bakti Scholarship, a social initiative awarded to outstanding students with a high commitment to service and social activities. The Head of the 2025 FEB UNAIR Bakti Scholarship, Griffan Qisthan Rafidayn, expressed his gratitude for the active contribution of FEB UNAIR students and supporters in raising funds so that the FEB UNAIR Bakti Scholarship runs very well. He also expressed his hope that the recipients of the FEB UNAIR Bakti Scholarship will not only be beneficiaries, but also provide benefits to the wider community.

The series of events was also enlivened by a Waltz Dance Performance and a collaboration between a Singer & Pianist Performance which presented an elegant and warm atmosphere.

GALA FEB 2025 ended with a photo session with all invited guests, marking the end of an evening full of appreciation and togetherness.
