Explore Campus Life: BEM FEB UNAIR Receive the visit of Muhammadiyah PK Kottabarat High School students

(BEM NEWS) Wednesday, February 12, 2025 – The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (BEM FEB UNAIR) received a visit from Muhammadiyah Senior High School, Kottabarat Special Program, Surakarta in the “Welcome Visit” program. This activity, initiated by the Department of External Relations of BEM FEB UNAIR, aims to introduce the academic environment and student activities at FEB UNAIR to students.

The visit was received by: Staff. Vice Dean I of FEB UNAIR – Muhammad Syaikh Rohman, SE., M.Ec., representing the Leadership of FEB UNAIR, together with the Head of the Management Department – ​​Dr. Gancar Candra Premananto, and the Secretary of the Islamic Economics Undergraduate Study Program – Dian Filianti, SE, M.Acc.

During this visit, the students received an introduction to the study programs available at FEB UNAIR, campus facilities, and various student organizations and activities that can support both academic and non-academic development. Furthermore, they also had the opportunity to engage in direct discussions with students and BEM FEB UNAIR administrators, gaining a clearer understanding of college life and the dynamics of the campus environment.

The "Welcome Visit" program is expected to provide insight and motivation for students at Muhammadiyah Senior High School Special Program Kottabarat Surakarta as they prepare to continue their education to a higher level, particularly in economics and business. This initiative also aligns with SDG 4: Quality Education, which emphasizes the importance of access to information and broader educational experiences for the younger generation.

Through this activity, FEB UNAIR remains committed to sharing knowledge and inspiration for prospective students, while strengthening the relationship between universities and secondary education institutions in supporting the development of superior human resources in the future.
