CAREER WEEK 2025: A PLACE FOR STUDENTS TO WELCOME THE PROFESSIONAL WORLD

Surabaya, Thursday, September 11, 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) officially held Career Week 2025 on September 10–11, 2025. Held in the Fadjar Hall, 2nd floor of the FEB Main Building and the Soepoyo Hall, 3rd floor of the FEB ABC Building, this event was presented as one of the flagship programs of BEM FEB UNAIR which was designed to bring students together with the world of work directly.

Over the two days of implementation, students were treated to a series of beneficial events. Career Week featured an inspiring talk show with Esther Lubis, SH, CEO & Founder of ProduktifKuy and a TikTok content creator, who shared her experiences on self-development, productivity, and tips for facing career challenges in the digital era. Additionally, seminars, company live sessions, and Walk-in Interview and CV Review facilities provided students with real-world experience in the recruitment process. Through these sessions, participants not only gained new insights but also interacted directly with companies to assess their readiness to enter the workforce.

Prof. Dr. Elly Munadziroh, drg., MS., Director of the Faculty of Economics and Business (DPKKA) Universitas Airlangga, emphasized that Career Week is an important platform to facilitate FEB students in internship programs. According to her, "Career Week provides broader access for students to establish connections with companies while preparing themselves before actually entering the professional world."

Meanwhile, Dr. Tri Siwi Agustina, SE., M.Si., representing FEB UNAIR, added, "This Career Week was born from the tradition of similar activities in each study program. Seeing the enthusiasm and positive impact generated, BEM FEB UNAIR then initiated Career Week on a faculty scale so that its benefits can be felt more evenly by all students."

Furthermore, Career Week 2025 is not just a job fair. Its presence has a broader purpose: to equip students with practical insights into the world of work, strengthen skills needed in the recruitment process, and expand their professional networks. Through direct interactions with various companies, FEB UNAIR students are expected to be able to recognize their potential, prepare for their careers early, and obtain internship and job opportunities relevant to their chosen fields.

With support from various companies, media partners, and communities, Career Week 2025 FEB Universitas Airlangga is a clear proof that the campus not only plays a role in educating students academically, but also preparing them to step more confidently into the professional world.
