(BEM News) Tuesday, July 8, 2025-Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (BEM FEB UNAIR), through the Department of External Relations, welcomed the educational visits of MAN 2 students in Madiun City in the Welcome Visit program. This activity aims to provide an introduction to the world of lectures and motivate students to continue their higher education, especially in the economic and business fields.
The event took place in Room 206 Feb Unair and opened with a speech from Drs. M. Fuad Hariri, M.Pd.I., as Head of MAN 2 Madiun City. He expressed his appreciation to the FEB Unair family, especially BEM FEB Unair, for extraordinary acceptance and the opportunity to share inspiration for students.
The speech and introduction of the faculty was delivered by Muhammad Syaikh Rohman, SE., M.Ec., Staff of Deputy Dean I FEB Unair. He explained that four undergraduate study programs were available, namely S1 Management, S1 Accounting, S1 Islamic Economics, and S1 Economics. In addition, various international programs, Airlangga University's entry tracks, S1-S-S2 programs, and future employment opportunities.
The next session presented Chorry Sulistyowati, SE., M.Sc., Secretary of the Management Study Program, which discussed curriculum structure, five specialization concentrations, as well as career potential management graduates in various industrial and entrepreneurship sectors.
The event was closed with material from Ida Wijayanti, Sei., M.Sei., Lecturer of Islamic Economics S1 Study Program. He introduced the concept of Islamic economics, the development of the Islamic financial industry, and the career opportunities of graduates at the national and international level.
This activity was attended by dozens of students of MAN 2 Madiun City with the accompanying teacher enthusiastically. In addition to getting to know the campus world more closely, the participants also gained new insights and enthusiasm to achieve their goals.
Through this program, BEM FEB Unair also plays an active role in supporting efforts to improve the quality of education by opening access to information and motivation for the younger generation. This activity is also a concrete manifestation of a collaborative spirit between students and institutions in building an inclusive, inspiring, and sustainable education partnership for a better future
