(BEM NEWS) Surabaya, Tuesday, July 8, 2025 – The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (BEM FEB UNAIR), through the Department of External Relations, warmly welcomed an educational visit from students of MAN 2 Kota Madiun under the Welcome Visit program. This activity aims to provide an introduction to the world of college and motivate students to continue their higher education, particularly in the fields of economics and business.

The event took place in Room 206 of FEB UNAIR and opened with remarks from Drs. M. Fuad Hariri, M.Pd.I., the Principal of MAN 2 Kota Madiun. He expressed his appreciation to the FEB UNAIR family, especially the BEM FEB UNAIR, for the extraordinary reception and the opportunity to share inspiration with the students.

Muhammad Syaikh Rohman, SE., M.Ec., Staff of the Vice Dean I of FEB UNAIR, delivered a welcoming speech and introduced the faculty. He explained the four available undergraduate study programs: Management, Accounting, Islamic Economics, and Economics. He also explained various international programs, UNAIR's admission pathways, the fast-track undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and future career opportunities.

The next session featured Chorry Sulistyowati, SE., M.Sc., Secretary of the Undergraduate Management Study Program, who discussed the curriculum structure, five concentrations of interest, and the career potential of management graduates in various industrial and entrepreneurial sectors.

The event concluded with a presentation from Ida Wijayanti, SEI., M.SEI., a lecturer in the Islamic Economics undergraduate program. She introduced the concept of Islamic economics, the development of the Islamic finance industry, and career opportunities for graduates at the national and international levels.

Dozens of students from MAN 2 Kota Madiun, along with their accompanying teachers, enthusiastically participated in this activity. Besides gaining a closer look at the campus world, the participants also gained new insights and the motivation to pursue their dreams.

Through this program, BEM FEB UNAIR actively supports efforts to improve the quality of education by providing access to information and motivation for the younger generation. This activity also demonstrates the collaborative spirit between students and the institution in building an inclusive, inspiring, and sustainable educational partnership for a better future.
