(BEM NEWS) FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS, this year the 14th International Development Student Conference takes the theme “Accelerating Sustainable Growth: Navigating the Economic Paradox.”

The event was held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, attended by 600 participants from various backgrounds, not only students, but also the general public were no less enthusiastic about participating in the event. Present at the event were Vice Dean I of FEB UNAIR Prof. Dr. Tika Widiastuti, SE., M.Si. Also present from BNI as a sponsor and collaborator in this event, Sigit Prihatmoko - Department Head of BNI Corporate Innovation Center and ⁠Lugas Prancafitri - Chief Financial Officer of BNI Ventures.

East Java Deputy Governor Emil Elestianto Dardak presented a compelling discussion on "Learning for Sustainable Living: Strengthening Communities Through Knowledge and Action," emphasizing the importance of education that builds environmental awareness, social responsibility, and collaborative skills to create real change. By acting together, communities can address global challenges like the climate crisis and social inequality, ensuring sustainability for future generations.

In another session, Amirul Ihsan was also present as a student speaker who raised the topic of social equality. Furthermore, Mindworks collaborated with Kok Bisa, one of the largest educational science media in Indonesia, to present material on Green Jobs, and held an interactive session through a Card Game titled TimeToTalk. In the next session, DBL Indonesia, through Puji Agus Santoso – Vice Director of DBL, presented material on how to transform the vision from sport to real action through DBL.

The IDSC National Seminar concluded with a session by Farhan, a content creator and Co-Founder & CEO of Learntera. He presented the theme "Believe in Possibilities," which fostered confidence in taking concrete action. This topic emphasized the importance of believing in the possibility of every step and dream they wish to achieve.
