ABDI'S ROOM

(BEM News) In order to provide basic education regarding the concept of added value in the economic world from an early age, the Department of Community Service BEM FEB UNAIR held the ABDI Vol.1 room with the headline "Color Nomi (Wahana Roleplay Economic Value)" on Saturday, April 26, 2025. This activity carries the tagline "Raise Your Value with Creativity" NGO Save Street Child Surabaya (SSC.Surabaya), and is intended for children aged 4 to 6 elementary schools who are members of the SSC.Surabaya community. This activity aims to foster an understanding of added value and economic processes applicatively through art media and role simulations.

With a pleasant educational approach, children are invited to decorate totebag as a basic product, then take part in the Mini Exhibition session to present their work like the buying and selling process. At the end of the session, a reflection with the facilitator was carried out on how creativity was able to increase the value of a product. The event was also attended by representatives of SSC.Surabaya, the ranks of the BEM FEB Unair Committee, as well as student volunteers who played the role of children's activities. The enthusiasm of children can be seen from their activeness in each session, ranging from decorating, selling, to conveying unique ideas about their work.

In terms of impact, the ABDI Vol.1 room contributes to the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically 4 points (quality education) and 8 points (decent work and economic growth). This program is a tangible form of strengthening economic literacy from an early age and empowerment of vulnerable communities through an inclusive and creative education approach. Documentation of activities is clearly recorded through a series of photos and videos that show the spirit of children, educational interactions, and collaborative atmosphere between students and the community. This activity is proof that community service is not only about giving, but also growing and learning together. Through the ABDI Vol.1 room, BEM FEB Unair emphasized its role as an agent of change that brought social impacts through alternative education that was grounded, applicative, and full of meaning.

(BEM News) - In an effort to instill a basic understanding of the concept of added value in the economic world from an early age, the Department of Community Service BEM FEB Universitas Airlangga held the ABDI Vol.1 Space Program titled "Color Nomi (Wahana Roleplay Economic Value)" on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Carrying the tagline "Raise Your Value with Creativity" Non-Profit Save Street Child Surabaya (SSC.Surabaya).

This program is intended for children graders 4 to 6 elementary schools who are members of the SSC.Surabaya community. Through an applicative and fun approach, children are invited to understand the concept of added value and economic processes through art media and role simulations.

The activity began with a totebag decorating session as a basic product. After that, participants took part in the Mini Exhibition to present their work in the scheme like the buying and selling process. At the end of the session, the facilitators guide reflection together, inviting children to understand how creativity can increase the value of a product.

The event was attended by representatives of SSC.Surabaya, BEM FEB Unair Committee, as well as student volunteers who played the role of companions. The enthusiasm of participants can be seen from their active involvement in each stage of the activity-starting from decorating, selling, to presenting unique ideas related to their respective works.
