
(AcSES NEWS) Surabaya, Tuesday, August 19, 2025 – The Islamic Business Division of the AcSES Reasoning Student Activity Unit (UKM-F), Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga successfully held an External Business Plan Study Group activity with the theme “Plan It Like a Pro: A Gen Z Guide to Winning Business Strategies”. This event was held offline at the Soepoyo Hall, 2nd Floor, FEB UNAIR and was attended by Universitas Airlangga students who have an interest in entrepreneurship and business plan preparation.

The series of activities began at 17.45 WIB with participant registration, followed by the opening of the event, recitation of the Qur'an, singing Indonesia Raya and the Airlangga Hymn, remarks by the Director of AcSES, until entering the core of the event in the form of material presentation by the resource person. The resource person in this activity was Riyanto, an Accounting student Universitas Airlangga who previously served as Director of KSEI AcSES FEB UNAIR. He has internship experience in the field of internal audit at PT Borwita Citra Prima and PT Berdikari (Persero), and actively leads various student business funding programs such as P2MW 2023–2024. His specialty is his brilliant achievements with more than 20 national awards in the fields of business plans, essays, and research, as well as his active role in managing national-level innovation projects such as INNOVILLAGE Telkom Indonesia and CIFEST KPK.
Through this activity, participants gained strategic insights and practical skills in developing competitive and innovative business plans in the digital age. Their enthusiasm was evident in their active participation in the discussion and Q&A session. It is hoped that this activity will foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students, preparing them not only for the job market but also for the potential to create new business opportunities in the future.
Furthermore, this activity supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda, particularly in improving the quality of education through entrepreneurship education and strengthening students' capacity to develop business plans. Furthermore, this activity contributes to inclusive economic growth by fostering an entrepreneurial spirit, developing aspiring young entrepreneurs, and encouraging the creation of new jobs. Furthermore, a spirit of innovation is instilled by encouraging the younger generation to present business ideas relevant to the developments in the digital era.
Thus, the External Business Plan Study Group not only provides short-term benefits in the form of practical knowledge, but also contributes to the achievement of sustainable development in the future.
