Smart I: Building Superior Sharia Economy Cadres through Leadership and Motivation Training

(ACESS NEWS) PACET, MOJOKERTO - Faculty Student Activity Unit (UKMF) Reasoning ACSES Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) successfully organized Sharia Motivation and Achievement Training I (Smart I) activities on Saturday -Sunday, 19-20 April 2025. Sharia which is not only conceptually competent, but is also able to implement the values ​​of Islamic economics in a real way, and has the ability to leadership and collaboration in the organization.

Smart I aims to strengthen cadres' understanding of Islamic economics and develop other leadership, managerial, and soft skills that support the active role in the organization. A total of 52 participants from the 2025 Access cadre participated in a series of activities that lasted for two days.

The first day of the activity began with the material delivery session held in the Soepoyo FEB Unair Hall. The first session discussed the topic of Fossei-an delivered by Muhammad Shalih Fauzan, Coordinator of Fossei East Java 2024-2025. In his presentation, he stressed the importance of the role of Fossei cadres in increasing public awareness of Islamic economic values ​​in aspects of muamalah and daily life.

The next session presented Auvi Dinayanti Kanasibah, an alumni of UKMF ACSES as well as a student of the Islamic Economics Fast-Track Program. With the topic "Mastering Balance: Setting Lecture Time, Organization, and Competition", Auvi shares experience and strategies in managing time effectively. He stressed that involvement in the organization did not become a barrier to achieving academic and non-academic achievements.

After the material session, the activity continued at Villa Medianna, Pacet. The participants took part in a series of agendas such as focus group discussions (focus group discussions), educational games, and intimacy sessions designed to build solidarity and collaborative spirit among cadres.

Smart I activities not only increase the knowledge of participants, but also hone soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, and time management. This also prepares the young generation who are more prepared to face global challenges with balanced intellectual and spiritual provisions.

Evaluation of activities shows that all indicators of success, such as the smooth running of the event, the accuracy of the delivery of material, and participant participation, have been achieved as expected. The enthusiasm of the participants was high during the activity to be proof of the success of Smart I in achieving their goals as a superior cadre program based on sharia economics at FEB Unair.
