On Thursday, May 22, 2025, the "Company Visit" to PT Pelindo Daya Sejahtera (PDS) was held as one of the work programs of the Public Relations and Communication which aims to provide in -depth insights on the industrial sector, work culture, and organizational systems at PT PDS, in line with the company's commitment in supporting the development of competent human resources in the world of work.
Before the event began, the participants were directed to get to the top floor of the Surya Nusantara Gapura Terminal (GSN) to see the view of the sea with various ships underneath. Then the participants were directed into the GSN VIP room as a place for the core event. The event was hosted by Frenty Yohana, as the Secretary of the Board of Directors of PT. PDS. The activity began with a speech by Mr. Mamu Yuwono, Plh General Manager of PT. PDS. Followed by the remarks and introduction of Access by the Director of Access, Muhammad Taufiq Hidayat. Then proceed with the material exposure session by Mr. Hery Kiswanto, Superintendent Strategy and System of HR PT. PDS, as the main resource person who shares the company's experience and strategy in facing industrial challenges.
From this event, participants get very valuable insight, starting from the management system, organizational structure, challenges at PT. PDS, as well as mainly participants can find out what are the most sought after labor criteria for the company, as well as internships for students. Finally the activity was closed with a discussion session between the speaker and the participants, and the documentation of the event.
Company Visit activities to PT Pelindo Daya Sejahtera have succeeded in providing opportunities for Accessors to learn directly from the world of work, expand knowledge, and understand real work practices in one of the large companies in the port labor services sector. Company Visit also encourages students to get to know the ecosystem of the world of work and sustainable career potential.
More than that, this activity also provides broad insights for participants, about the role of innovation and efficiency in managing human resources in the logistics and port sector. Finally, it is hoped that through the collaboration built between Aces and PT. Pelindo Daya Sejahtera, can further support the development of student capacity.
Thus, the Company Visit to PT Pelindo Daya Sejahtera plays an active role in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) , as well as providing beneficial knowledge both for the Accessor, in this case, 10 Accessors are present as a committee, and 25 Accessors are present as participants.
