On Thursday, May 22, 2025, a “Company Visit” to PT Pelindo Daya Sejahtera (PDS) as one of the work programs of the Public Relations and Communication which aims to provide in-depth insight into the industrial sector, work culture, and organizational systems at PT PDS, in line with the Company's commitment to supporting the development of competent human resources in the world of work.
Before the event began, participants were directed to the top floor of the Gapura Surya Nusantara (GSN) Terminal to see the sea view with various ships below. Then participants were directed to enter the GSN VIP room as the venue for the main event. This event was hosted by Frenty Yohana, as Secretary of the Board of Directors of PT. PDS. The activity began with remarks by Mr. Mamu Yuwono, Acting General Manager of PT. PDS. Followed by remarks and introduction of AcSES by the director of AcSES, Muhammad Taufiq Hidayat. Then continued with a material presentation session by Mr. Hery Kiswanto, Superintendent of Strategy and HR Systems of PT. PDS, as the main speaker who shared the Company's experiences and strategies in facing industry challenges.
The event provided valuable insights into PT PDS's management system, organizational structure, and challenges. Most importantly, participants learned about the most sought-after workforce criteria and internship information for students. The event concluded with a discussion between the presenters and participants, along with documentation of the event.
The company visit to PT Pelindo Daya Sejahtera provided AcSESors with the opportunity to learn firsthand from the workplace, broaden their knowledge, and understand real-world work practices at a major port labor services company. company visit also encouraged students to gain a deeper understanding of the workplace ecosystem and its potential for sustainable careers.
Furthermore, this activity also provided participants with extensive insight into the role of innovation and efficiency in human resource management in the logistics and port sector. Finally, it is hoped that the collaboration between AcSES and PT. Pelindo Daya Sejahtera will further support student capacity development.
Thus, the Company Visit to PT Pelindo Daya Sejahtera plays an active role in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) , as well as providing useful knowledge for both AcSESor, in this case, 10 AcSESORs were present as committee members, and 25 AcSESORs were present as participants.
