(AcSES NEWS) Wednesday, May 7, 2025 – In an effort to encourage the spirit of scientific competition among students, the Association of Sharia Economic Students (AcSES) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) held the AcSES Goes to PIMNAS (AGTP) 2025 program. This activity was held online in the form of a webinar on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, involving participants from across faculties within UNAIR as well as students from outside the campus.
What are the goals of AGTP 2025?
AGTP 2025 aims to improve students' understanding and readiness in preparing proposals for the Student Creativity Program (PKM), specifically in three main schemes: PKM-K (Entrepreneurship), PKM-RSH (Social Humanities Research), and PKM-PM (Community Service). Through this activity, AcSES aims to equip students with insight, technical skills, and motivation to be able to actively contribute to the prestigious National Student Science Week (PIMNAS).
Who is involved?
This webinar featured speakers from PIMNAS alumni and PKM funding recipients, who shared their experiences in developing effective and competitive proposals. Each scheme was discussed separately, from idea selection and background development, objectives and methods, to writing techniques that align with SIMBELMAWA guidelines.
What is the content of the material and how is it implemented?
During the presentation session, participants received in-depth explanations of the strategies and technical steps for proposal development. Practical tips for navigating the internal campus selection process and preparing for the national stage were also provided. The enthusiasm of participants from diverse backgrounds demonstrated their strong interest in participating in the scientific competition.
Why is this activity important?
AGTP is a strategic step by AcSES to strengthen student contributions in research, entrepreneurship, and community service. This activity also supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically points 4 (Quality Education) and 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). Through PKM-K, students are encouraged to develop innovative business ideas. Meanwhile, through PKM-RSH and PKM-PM, they are encouraged to be more sensitive to social issues and offer research-based solutions.
What is the expected impact?
With the implementation of AGTP 2025, AcSES UNAIR demonstrates its commitment to building a productive and competitive academic culture. This program serves not only as an educational tool but also as a platform for self-development and increasing student confidence in pursuing scientific paths. Going forward, AGTP is expected to become a regular program that strengthens the spirit of collaboration and student contributions to the national academic world.
