(AcSES NEWS) May 18, 2025 – The Association of Sharia Economic Students (AcSES) of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) once again held AcSES Joint Research (AcSES JR) on Saturday, May 18, 2025. This activity aims to improve the understanding and ability of the academic community, especially students, in processing secondary data and using Stata statistical software in an applicable manner.

The AcSES JR 2025 Workshop, held online via the Zoom Meeting platform, is a concrete manifestation of AcSES' commitment to improving the quality of student research. This initiative also aligns with efforts to support Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, namely Quality Education, by providing access to relevant technical training, knowledge, and skills in research and scientific work.

The keynote speaker was Tegar Rismanuar, SE, ME, MM, AWP, a risk management specialist and researcher at the Waqf Center for Indonesian Development and Studies. To enhance the training's effectiveness, participants were provided with Stata software files and datasets the day before the event. This ensured everyone was on the same page and could optimally follow the material.

AcSES JR serves not only as an educational platform but also as a platform for developing research capacity needed in both academia and the workplace. This activity reflects AcSES UNAIR's ongoing commitment to building a productive and competent academic culture on campus.

Going forward, AcSES hopes that this program can continue to develop into a regular platform capable of expanding research literacy among students, strengthening academic competitiveness, and fostering a scientific spirit oriented towards real contributions to the development of science and society.
