sobi feb unairSOBI is a work program in the form of business class guidance for WEBS members. This Internal School of Business aims to provide a forum for active WEBS members in planning and managing a business. The theme of SOBI 2024 this time is "Corporate Finance", it is hoped that by carrying this theme WEBS members will increasingly understand how to manage finances effectively. This year's SOBI is divided into 3 sessions. The first SOBI presents a speaker from the Faculty of Economics and Business to provide material on "Corporate Finance" in general, followed by group presentations of the given case. Next, SOBI collaborates with the work program of the ORG and PR/IT divisions, namely BV & OV. The goal is to see firsthand the implementation of the material that has been obtained on the first day of SOBI in the companies to be visited. For the last SOBI, we will implement it following the major WEBS work program, WEBSVAGANZA. SOBI facilitates in the form of materials related to the preparation of WEBSVAGANZA.

The School of Business Internal (SOBI) program organized by WEBS is closely linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
In line with SDG 4, SOBI helps improve the quality of education within WEBS by providing training and workshops on entrepreneurship and business aspects. Through this program, WEBS members can gain the knowledge and skills needed to manage a business or start their own. This will help improve the overall quality of education, by providing WEBS members with access to relevant and practical learning in the business field.
SOBI is also committed to supporting the achievement of SDG 8 by equipping WEBS members with the knowledge and skills needed to become successful entrepreneurs. Thus, this program not only helps in creating jobs for WEBS members themselves through the potential of starting their own businesses, but also contributes to broader economic growth by increasing the number and quality of entrepreneurs within the community.
In line with SDG 17, SOBI promotes partnerships and collaboration among WEBS members by providing a platform for sharing knowledge, experiences, and resources. Through collaboration within this program, WEBS members can support and strengthen each other in achieving WEBS's vision and mission. Furthermore, SOBI can potentially partner with external institutions or individuals to provide additional resources or support enhanced program development.
