Webinar “The Secret to Passing Scholarship Selection” Provides In-Depth Insights to FEB UNAIR Students
The Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR), through the Scholarship Consultant (SC) program of the WEBS organization, held a webinar entitled “The Secret to Passing Scholarship Selection: Tips and Tricks from FEB UNAIR Scholarship Awardees.” This activity was held online through the Zoom platform and was specifically intended for WEBS members of the 2024 and 2025 intakes who are interested in obtaining scholarships to support their studies.
This webinar featured four inspiring speakers who are recipients of various prestigious scholarships, including the Djarum Scholarship, the Karya Salemba Empat Scholarship (KSE), the Unggulan Scholarship, and GenBI (New Generation of Indonesia). The speakers shared their personal experiences in the scholarship selection process they went through, as well as providing strategies, tips and tricks, and important things to prepare to increase the chances of passing the selection. The material presented included a brief explanation of the requirements and selection process for each scholarship, the benefits felt after becoming an awardee, and memorable experiences during the selection process. The discussion session was lively and interactive, followed by a question and answer session that gave participants the opportunity to dig deeper into the information.
Interestingly, at the end of the event, a games session was held to create a more relaxed and fun atmosphere. This activity not only provided new insights to participants but also served as an inspirational space to be more confident in achieving their dream scholarship. This activity is part of WEBS's contribution to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4: Quality Education. Through this program, students are expected to be more focused on their education without being burdened by financial constraints.
With the high enthusiasm of the participants and the inspiring material, this webinar succeeded in providing new enthusiasm and motivation for FEB UNAIR students to continue to excel and take advantage of scholarship opportunities as a future investment.
