
The Student Legislative Body (BLM) of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) will organize a visit to Jakarta and Bandung as a means of internal development of BLM FEB UNAIR. This activity will be held from Monday to Friday, October 15-19, 2025. This BLM VISIT selected destinations that are central institutions and universities in the cities of Jakarta and Bandung. This activity aims to analyze and discuss factors that cause low student interest in the legislature. Understanding the role and impact of the legislature in society through direct studies with related institutions, by exchanging insights and innovative ideas between universities to enrich strategies and work programs in the future and also develop new ideas and innovations, in order to increase the attractiveness of the Student Legislative Body to other students.
Below we attach the relationship between BLM Visit 2025 and the sustainable development goals :
- SDG 4 – Quality Education
This activity is related to the development of students' insight, analysis, discussion, and innovation in the legislative field, which is part of citizenship education and leadership skills. - SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
This activity directly examines and understands the legislative function in society and encourages student participation in campus institutions. - SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals (Partnerships to Achieve the Goals)
By exchanging ideas between universities and comparative studies with legislative institutions, this activity builds a strategic partnership network between students and various institutions.
On this agenda, there are specific objectives for each institution visited, including:
- The Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia
(DPD RI) represents a legislative body focused on regional issues and public representation. Through this visit, participants are expected to understand how aspirations can be transformed into policies with real impact. - The Supreme Audit Agency of the Republic of Indonesia
As a state financial supervisory agency, the BPK RI is a real example of how supervision and accountability are carried out systematically and professionally, relevant to the supervisory function in student legislative organizations. - The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia's
visit to the Constitutional Court aims to provide an understanding of the constitution's role in maintaining justice and the legislative process. This is essential for students to understand the legal dimensions of policies and regulations. - The University of Indonesia and Padjadjaran University
were chosen as fellow student organizations because both have strong and innovative legislative systems. Through this forum for exchanging ideas, BLM FEB UNAIR hopes to adopt best practices and strengthen networks between student legislative institutions. - PT. Astra International Tbk.
As the only private institution or company visited, Astra International will provide a new perspective on organizational and individual management. With a visionary theme, the discussion forum will be held openly to gain the desired substance and build a network with one of Indonesia's largest private companies, which already has numerous assets and continues to grow.
