The meeting room was filled with representatives of BEM departments—from academics and student welfare to student affairs—as well as BLM members who would evaluate and provide input on the 2025 work plan. A lively atmosphere was created from the opening remarks of the BLM Chair, who emphasized the importance of synergy between the two institutions for the advancement of the campus.
In the main presentation session, BEM presented several work programs linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that support SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions).
During the discussion, BLM members made several important recommendations. They emphasized the need for impact evaluation indicators, such as satisfaction surveys and quarterly reports, so that program effectiveness can be measured objectively. Furthermore, budget transparency and accountability mechanisms at every stage of program implementation are considered crucial to maintaining stakeholder trust.
As the meeting closed at 11:30 a.m. WIB, both parties agreed to follow up on the results of the working meeting. This series of activities is expected to strengthen collaboration and accountability within the Universitas Airlangga during the 2025 term.
