E-RADIO TRAINING 2018

            Not only hard skills are needed, but soft skills are also needed. E-Radio provided training to staff in the 2018 period to develop their skills in the fields of Broadcasting, Public Speaking, and Announcer. We provide training facilities so that they are ready when asked to be radio announcers or MCs for events. This is also related to their courage in public speaking. Public speaking is something we must learn, because the higher our education, the more we are required to be able to speak in public. This work program has been passed down from the previous management, therefore we continue to maintain it because it has become a culture of E-radio to form talented people in this field.

            This work program was implemented for 3 months from August to October every Friday. This training was held at Loop Station Darmo in front of Bungkul Park Surabaya. This activity was guided by our alumni, Mas Jivat, who now works at a private radio station and often appears as a host on a private TV station as well. So there is no doubt about his skills in public speaking and announcing. Our alumni taught basic techniques to how to speak fluently without any stuttering in words. The basic techniques include the correct breathing technique, the goal is to avoid running out of breath when speaking quickly, as well as humming techniques and how to round out our voices to be more pleasant to hear. The staff of the 2018 period were very enthusiastic about this activity. The training started at 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. They really used the 3-hour opportunity by practicing very diligently. Our hope is to make all e-radio members brave in speaking in public without any fear at all. Hopefully this training is useful knowledge until the end of life.
