The Announcer Competition is an event for announcer/announcer talent which is shown by students who have talent or just want to try out how much their abilities are in the world of announcing. This year's Announcer Competition was attended by various universities in East Java and dozens of students took part in each phase of the competition.

The participants had gathered since 07.00 at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . After that at 07.00 - 07.30 participants registered and continued to prepare themselves for the competition. Announcer Competition competition is divided into 2 sessions. The first session was the preliminary round where previously participants were told to make 3 scripts or scripts which included: lifestyle, showbiz and health. In this first session the participants showed their abilities and will be filtered into the top 10. In the second or final session, participants were asked to make a script in a place with a theme determined by the jury with a time of 30 minutes, after the time to make the manuscript was finished, the finalist broadcast the manuscript that had been made, finally the announcement of the winner by the jury .

The competition assessments include: script assessment, attitude in broadcasting and ability to process and package ideas. Prizes include cash, certificates and trophies.

And after participating in this event, it is hoped that apart from adding friends, the participants will also be able to gain good broadcasting knowledge from all the competition participants who took part in the Announcer Competition . And hopefully on the next occasion the participants can perform better in the next competitions and other competitions. And the most important thing is that by taking part in this competition, all participants are expected to be able to share the experiences they have had with their friends about how exciting activities in the world of radio are.
