(Mosaic News) - On April 25, 2025, Mosaic's Muslim Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB Airlangga University) collaborated with the Muslim SKI Faculty of Vocational Faculty (FV) in the Muslim Routine Study . This activity raised the theme "Work-Life Balance: Is it possible to be successful in career and family at the same time?", In response to the dynamics and challenges faced by Muslim women in carrying out dual roles in the domestic and professional domains.
This study presented Umma Dhyna's speakers, alumni Universitas Airlangga, and held at The Gade Creative Lounge FEB UNAIR 3rd floor. Events were open to the public, especially Muslim women in the FEB Airlangga University.
During the study, participants were invited to understand the meaning of the balance between the role of career and family in the perspective of Islam. Umma Dhyna said that Islam views the role of Muslim women not limited to the domain of the family, but also appreciates its contribution in the professional world. He highlighted that although working is often considered a way to independence and social status, secular-capitalistic systems often cause new problems because they make material a benchmark for happiness. In sharia view, the state should guarantee the welfare of the people, including the fulfillment of women's rights.
Muslim Routine Study Program is expected to be able to provide insight and motivation for participants to continue to develop into a productive, balanced, and remain Muslim Muslim woman.
