MOSAIC Visit (MOV) is one of the work programs of the Human Resources Development Division (PSDM) MOSAIC FEB UNAIR which will be held on 26 October 2024. This visit aims to introduce participants to the world of local creative industries by visiting Bakpia Juwara Satoe, a typical culinary business Yogyakarta which has succeeded in empowering the local community. This activity is expected to provide insight to participants regarding sustainable business practices and innovation in the food industry.
The MOV activity itself collaborates with the MoSAIC Working Visit which is supervised by the MDPR Bureau by visiting Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. In this case, MOV activities support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), MOV supports several important aspects, especially SDGS 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDGS 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDGS 9 (Innovation, Industry, and Infrastructure). By studying successful business models at the local level, participants can be inspired to apply principles that support inclusive economic growth, efficient use of resources, and strengthening sustainable local innovation.
