Responding to the many romantic phenomena that lead to negative things,
the Muslim Affairs Division of the Moslem Students Association of Economics and Business Faculty (MOSAIC) Faculty of
Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga
Muslim
seminar UNAIR. Carrying the theme "It's Time for Muslim Women to Play a Role, Not to Be Emotional", it is hoped that Muslim women
can play their roles and spread benefits according to their respective fields.
The first speaker was Nuri Fauziah, M.Psi who discussed Don't Be Emotional Easily, how
to manage your heart so as not to be negative. Love is natural. Emotional becomes a disaster if you confide
in a non-mahram, starting from confiding to being attracted. The closing statement delivered
was "Be a woman who is difficult to get, but lucky to have."
Dewi Nur Aisyah, Ph.D., the second speaker, stated that women possess
special qualities and dignity that other creatures of God do not possess. She also
emphasized the importance of women in Islam.
"During the Roman and Greek eras, women were devalued, but in Islam,
Allah SWT has given them a very noble role. It is from these women that Allah wants us
(women, Ed.) to produce generations of a more civilized civilization, a Rabbani generation
that loves the Quran and Islam more," she said.
She added that women can also play roles within the family,
work, and community. Furthermore, she emphasized the importance
of education for women.
Furthermore, she emphasized the three primary roles that women must fulfill as
Muslim women, regardless of their roles in
other fields.
"In any role, regardless of the additional roles you undertake, ensure you
uphold the three main pillars of a woman. The first is being a pious woman, the second is being
a devout wife, and the third is being a primary school teacher. These are the three pillars of a Muslim woman's role that are
non-negotiable," she concluded.
In closing, she added that as a Muslim woman, she must be able to fulfill these three
main roles in a balanced manner, not compromising on their respective portions. Therefore,
only after fulfilling these three main roles can a woman take on the additional roles
that are needed.
