Karimah Akbar is the largest work program of the Muslim community MOSAIC FEB
Unair. Karimah Akbar also serves as a forum and provision for
Muslim women, providing guidance and knowledge in
carrying out their daily activities.
Muslim women have been a source of strength in Islam since the time of
the Prophet Muhammad and his companions. This is evidenced by the many stories of
great women who, with their resilience, intelligence, and strength of heart, were able
to bring Islam to our time. Examples include Sayyidatii Khadijah,
Aisha, and others.
Likewise in this era, where all technological sophistication can be utilized
well by Muslim women. Their large population throughout the world
makes this woman a powerful force in religion. Figures that
can serve as role models and teachers for the next generation must truly
possess qualities so that they can be passed on to future generations.
The 2020 Karimah Akbar was held on November 14, 2020, via Zoom
Virtual Meeting. The first speaker was Izzatur Rifdah Ismail, Lc, and
the second speaker was Dyah Sania Artiwi. The theme for the
2020 Karimah Akbar was "The Role of Muslim Women Amidst the Pandemic: Maintaining the Immune System and Faith of Yourself and
Your Family." The total number of participants was 105.
