The 2022 Islamic Days event with the theme "Ukhuwah Unite to be Gold" is a series of 2 (two) different events, namely:
- MOSAIC Islamic Competition (MIC)
This year's MOSAIC Islamic Competition will hold a podcast videography competition, featuring audio recordings presented through engaging videos to enhance the preaching arena in today's digital era. The theme of this podcast videography competition is "The Contribution of Muslim Youth in Addressing Global Issues." Submissions will be submitted through the committee and will consist of only one round. The target participants are high school students, university students throughout Indonesia, and the general public, either individually or in groups of up to two people. This event is expected to foster competitiveness in doing good deeds and train participants to improve their public speaking skills, encouraging them to be brave in preaching in public. Furthermore, students can gain a closer understanding of Islam and foster a sense of pride in it.
b. Islamic Studies Faculty of Economics and Business (SIMFONI)
The Islamic Studies Department of the Faculty of Economics and Business (SIMFONI) is hosting a Tabligh Akbar (Grand Recitation) event, part of a series of Islamic Days 2022 events, serving as the culmination and closing ceremony. This Tabligh Akbar event will be held offline at the Nuruzzaman Mosque, Campus B, Universitas Airlangga. It will feature renowned Ustadz (Islamic teachers) who are expected to be close to students and the community. At the end of the event, there will be an award ceremony for the MIC implementation. It is hoped that the theme of Islamic Days 2022 will be well-conveyed and that Islamic values can be implemented in daily life to achieve a strong and solid Islamic brotherhood among Muslims.
