Bismillahirrahmanirrahiim…
Assalamualaikum, FEB UNAIR community.
The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in educational institutions, including universities, having almost all
their activities carried out online. This has limited the movement of young Muslims who want
to preach Islam, increase their knowledge about Islam, and hamper creativity in
this modern era. In Surah Ali-Imran verse 10, Allah says:
"You are the best nation, raised for mankind, enjoining what is right and
forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah." (QS: Ali Imron 110)
This verse contains two things; first, the nobility of Muslims is through da'wah. Second,
the upholding and existence of Muslims is by implementing the concept of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar. Every
Muslim is obliged to convey da'wah according to their capacity and ability
. Thus, it can be said that da'wah is a way of life for a believer that
always colors every behavior and activity.
Therefore, we from MOSAIC Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga will hold
an event connected to Islamic Days 2020 with the theme "Exploring Modern Islamic Culture
With The Role Of Young Generation". This ISDAYS 2020 activity consists of two sub-events, namely a
poster competition and a grand tabligh. The poster competition starts from October 5th - November 3rd.
This digital poster competition provides an opportunity for young people in Indonesia to test their knowledge,
skills, intelligence, creativity, innovation and insight into Islam. This poster competition
carries the big theme of Exploring Modern Islamic Culture With The Role Of Young Generation.
The next event is Tabligh Akbar which will be held on November 14th, 2020. At
this grand tabligh event, the material will be delivered by Ustadz Salim A Fillah. The goal is to teach how to
maximize the duties of a young Muslim as a driver of Islamic civilization in this modern era.
It is hoped that young Muslims with integrity can broadcast creatively and modernly.
