The 2024 Kopmeb Internal Competition is one of the flagship work programs of the Research and Development (RnD) Division of the FEB Universitas AirlanggaStudent Cooperative. This event is designed to increase the knowledge and understanding of KOPMEB administrators in the field of cooperatives. With the theme "Cooperative Transformation: Innovation and Digitalization as Creative Economy Development", this competition aims to encourage the emergence of innovation among KOPMEB administrators in the digitalization era to create a creative economy. One of the main focuses of the 2024 Kopmeb Internal Competition is the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 9 and SDG 17. SDG 9 focuses on building resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and encouraging innovation. In this context, this competition invites administrators to adopt technology and innovation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cooperative management.
This internal competition consisted of two main categories: the Cooperative Olympiad and the Business Model Canvas (BMC). A total of 17 teams consisting of members of the FEB Unair cooperative participated in this event. In the Cooperative Olympiad, participants competed on their knowledge and understanding of various aspects of cooperatives. Meanwhile, in the BMC competition, participants were challenged to develop innovative business models that could be applied in cooperative management. During the competition, participants explored the use of digital systems for cooperative management and marketing. By utilizing the latest technology, cooperatives are expected to increase their competitiveness and provide better services to their members. This digital transformation not only improves operational efficiency but also supports the development of more modern and sustainable infrastructure.
Furthermore, the implementation of SDG 17 is also a key agenda item in the 2024 Kopmeb Internal Competition. This competition fosters strong partnerships among participants, where they learn from each other and grow together. By strengthening networks and collaboration, participants can create positive synergies that open up opportunities for future collaboration. This is a concrete example of effective collaboration, where administrators exchange experiences and knowledge to improve cooperative performance.
