The struggle to improve cooperatives in Indonesia is not over yet, as we are still facing the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. This revolution will bring significant changes to our digital lifestyle. Currently, many cooperatives remain inactive. This is due to a lack of encouragement or attention from the government to develop cooperatives in a more progressive direction. With the millennial generation's enthusiasm for collaboration and innovation, cooperatives will be able to address the challenges of all existing problems. Therefore, the role of the millennial generation is crucial in realizing cooperatives in Indonesia as leading innovations, thereby helping to improve the current economic situation.
Cooperatives, both as a people's economic movement and as a business entity based on the principles of family and economic democracy, are highly appropriate when partnered with the millennial generation as a platform to strengthen themselves in facing new challenges in the era of globalization. Therefore, the role of youth must be involved in strengthening efforts based on the cooperative spirit to synergize and accelerate the Indonesian economy. Therefore, we, the Student Cooperative of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga , intend to hold the 2022 Kopma FEB Middle Education and Training event with the theme "Cooperatives as a Platform for Student Business Development.".
This event aims to increase student interest in cooperatives and enhance their knowledge in cooperative economics. The speakers at this event are Luni Nanda, Shochrul Rohmatul Ajija, SE, M.Ec, and Naning Poedji Rahayu, S.IP. Saturday, This event will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 7:30 AM to 12:15 PM WIB online via Zoom Meeting. It is hoped that after participating in this activity, participants will have a better understanding of cooperatives and their distribution in the digital era for the economy, both for students in general and for KOPMEB administrators and members in particular.
